  • This is ridiculous. What will the next headline be? This a gigantic political smear campaign which the media has gleefully kept rolling. It is pathetic but shows how frightened the Dems are of Palin. They can't argue the facts so they want to discredit her.

  • Every Republican thinks this is Christmas. Biden is a terrific choice... for the McCain campaign. We are near neighbors to Delaware and get treated to Bidenisms. The man can't open his mouth without putting his foot in it . And he gets worse when he is in the spotlight.

  • By the way pardon my typo. I meant to say concerning Maureen Dowd's NYT op page column that she wrote Obama's tee shirts SMELL like fresh linen.... I guess in the next edition we will find out what fabric softener Michelle uses.

  • To the above, Obama was told in advance that he couldn't bring campaign people with him to the military hospital. This is standard policy and not a special concern related to Obama's visit.

  • Obama benefits enormously from an uncritical,unethical, adoring press. He gets millions and millions of dollars of free media time every week. Mr. Photo Op, a consummate actor, who has accomplished very little politically except in political campaigning is propped up by the major networks and press.

  • Sorry Mr. Hopper, Obama is short on details, long on vague often grandiose ideas. He has great delivery of speeches written by professional speech writers but is poor in extemporaneous speaking. Obama has shown himself to be a gifted campaigner but a lack luster elected official.
